Level 1 (Be Ready) evacuation alert has been issued by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office in coordination with the California Incident Management Team 6 that is battling the Grasshopper Fire. This alert is for the Mount Hood corridor, from Rhododendron east through Government Camp and surrounding areas of the Mount Hood National Forest. Hoodland Fire District #74 is searching for everyday citizens like YOU who want to commit to making a difference! No experience is needed because all Hoodland Volunteer Firefighters receive a high level of training in fire fighting, emergency medical care, driver awareness, apparatus operations, hazardous materials, radio communications, and basic report writing. You will learn all of the skills you need to provide high quality emergency medical care and fire suppression and make a difference to the residents and visitors of the communities we serve.

Chimney brush loan program for residents >

Hoodland Fire District residents and property owners can borrow chimney brushes from the Hoodland Fire District for FREE! Please come by the Welches Main Station during business hours. We are located at 69634 E. Hwy 26, Welches, OR. There is no charge to borrow the brushes and 6' extension rods, we just ask that you bring the brush back within 24 Hours so that other residents can borrow the brushes.
